Unfortunately, I have no photos to share, but I feel like I’m making significant progress on my Single Girl quilt. I’ve given myself a deadline of early September (before I leave for vacation) to get that quilt basted so I can start hand-quilting it while at the beach. So far, I’ve got all of the interiors of Q1 done, with all of Q2s and some Q3s pinned. I’ve found that pinning them all first makes the sewing go by SO much faster. I can get them all sewn in about 30 mins…it’s the pinning that takes at least an hour and half for 15 curves. I keep forgetting that I still have the exterior background fabric to attach, but I feel pretty confident in getting this thing done! I will have to get more Kona coal for the back and borders though. I ran out :0/
No other news to report…summer is trudging along. I kinda hate this weather right now. I’d rather be here:
